Facebook, Twitter Revolutionizing How Parents Stalk Their College-Aged Kids

  • Just because we're facebook friends doesn't mean you can write "I love you" all over my wall.
  • It makes me happy to see parents using this to violate privacy. No sarcasm.

    Kids these days don't realize how precious privacy is. Hell, most adults don't realize it. They look at being screened three times to get back into their own country as a safety screening. I see it as a violation. I am not an advocate of Twitter, or anything that helps track the whereabouts of individuals. The rest of the world can broadcast what they're doing when and where... I will just laugh when their house is ransacked

      There is a large number of people that don't use Twitter as initially intended. They use it as a way to leave their thoughts (things they want other people to know) and getting links to interesting articles.

      It ends up being a news reader in which you can subscribe not only to article sources, but also to people. It may be useless, and it may be informative. It depends who you subscribe to, i.e. "follow".

Old programmers never die, they just hit account block limit.
